The CIM membership year runs from June 1st to May 31st. You must be a member to participate in the CIM courses. Annual membership fees (due each June) are separate from course fees and must be paid directly to CIM Halifax Branch.

Many local companies provide financial support for students taking the Certificate in Management program. Note: Course fees are separate from CIM membership fees, and are administered by the educational institute where the courses are being offered.
Each year a graduation ceremony is held. Graduates are entitled to use the C.I.M. designation provided they maintain their annual membership.
