Women's Health Matters An informative web site from The New Women's College Hospital. Has a resource database including research about midwifery and childbirth.
Stepping Stones to Midwifery (it has an amazing booklist on midwifery topics)
Midwife Info American but has really interesting links to international sites, and keeps current with Canadian information.
International Centre for Traditional Childbearing ICTC is an African-centered (US-based) health promotion and midwife training organization
North American Registry of Midwives Includes a thorough job description - what midwives actually do - done in 1995
