Welcome to the CSuite Information Centre. The Chebucto Suite (CSuite) software is currently available as a Beta 2.0 release. The Beta 2.0 package includes install routines developed using a Redhat distribution of Linux. The software has been installed on Solaris and the necessary patches are being documented. - Aug. 26, 1997
Beta 1.0 (for Linux) was released March 4, 1997.
Beta 2.0 (for Linux) was released July 14, 1997.
Version 1.0 of CSuite is projected for mid/late September 1997. CSuite Version 1.0 will be functionally similar to Beta 2.0 but will include a limited number security and bug fixes identified during the beta testing.
The support of Industry Canada has assisted the CSuite development project. Here is their press release announcing CSuite Version 1.0 release.
Chebucto Suite has been developed by the Chebucto Community Net (CCN) in support of universal access to information. All parts of CSuite developed by CCN will be provided without charge to groups dedicated to universal access to information.
