II Miscellaneous Software & Utilities
- Apple II Desktop v1.1 (Apple Computer Inc.)
- A Macintosh-style desktop for the IIc/c+/e. Works best with 128k+
computers as it will load itself into the RAMdisk. Will not work with
a joystick; in lieu of a mouse, use the ESCAPE key to highlight the
menu bar, use your arrow keys to move and then use OA+ commands to
perform the various required functions. Use 'ShrinkIt' to expand. Use on
all Apple II's under ProDOS 8. 2 versions available - one for 800k
disks; one for 140k disks.
NOTE: Due to a bug in the firmware of the IIc+, the floppy drives will
continue running unless you download and use IIc+DrvStop which is provided
below. With simple OA key commands, you can disconnect and reconnect the
drives electronically without losing your work. The bug does not occur on
the IIc/e systems.
- ProSEL 8 v4.0 by Glen Bredon
- A top notch program selector and collection of utilities to manage
your files and to provide optimal performance for your system. Use
an unzipping utility to create the self extracting program. Placed
in the public domain by the author. Please read the included text file
for important information regarding this archived version and
copyrights.
- AmDOS
- This program allows the user to run DOS 3.3 programs on a 3.5" drive.
Without this program, only 5.25" disks can be used. Use 'BinSCII' to
decode. Use 'ShrinkIt' to expand. For use on all Apple II's.
- Menu Selector II
- An 8 bit program launcher written partly in Basic and ML.
On-line documentation. Use 'BinSCII' to decode. May require
'ShrinkIt' to expand. For use on all Apple II's under ProDOS 8.
- Virus Checker
- A basic program which tells you what to do as you check all your
programs for possible viruses. Used to check all Apple programs in the
CCN PDA. Use 'BinSCII' to decode. May require 'ShrinkIt' to expand.

- Print Shop Clip Art Converter
- Allows you to convert hi-res screens into Print Shop graphics. Use
'BinSCII' to decode. Use 'ShrinkIt' to expand. For use on all Apple II's under ProDOS 8.
- Slot Scan
- A utility program which scans the slot setup of Apple II's and you
can use the info to better assign your hardware for optimum performance.

Apple II's under ProDOS 8.
- KickStart Copier
- The only disk copier that lets the user copy to larger 800K 3.5" ProDOS
disks from the smaller 143K 5.25" disks. Supports Laser compatibility.

$10.00. For use on all Apple II's under ProDOS 8.
