Rememberance Before going any further may I take a moment to remember one of our league members who passed away this year. I speak of a Fairview Legion member who every one knew as Barney Eric Barnes who has played in this league for approximately 28 years. I had the privilege of playing for the team at the ACS championships in Reno which placed tied for ninth in the open division and was called Barney's Bullets in honor of Barney. Lets just take a moment of silence to remember this fine player and gentleman. Dynasty Falls At this time it would be most fitting for the league to recognize probably the only real dynasty this league will ever know. For the past twenty years this team has never missed the playoff finals and has won the championship 15 out of the twenty years. In recognition of the team captained by John McCoombs, Don Matheson, Dale Young and Stan Tunis and the rest of the members over the years who contributed to this dynasty lets have a big round of applause in appreciation for the Burnside Snooker Club Team. It is also fitting to recognize the team who dethroned the dynasty by eliminating them from the League playoff finals captained by Dale Arsenault the players of the Almon Billiards Pool Team. A Division Runner-Up for the 2005 year was the Almon Billiards Team captained by Dale Arsenault.
