You've just been on a "web surf", followed links all over the place and didn't backtrack very much. Press the 'y' key and you'll see where you have been. The most recent is on the top, link [1], with the number of links in the history file on the left. If you do it now, the first link is back to this page. When you use the back arrow, you are going down this list.
First use [gfiles] to get your home directory file listing. Position the cursor on the link called 'lynx_bookmarks.html'. Press 'm' to modify, press 'n' to select name and rename the file to 'saved_bookmarks.html'. It's also a good idea to create an empty file called 'lynx_bookmarks.html', but it is not necessary.
Look at your history again, and position the cursor on a link you want to keep. Press 'a' to add, and then 'l' for the link. The link has just been saved in the file 'lynx_bookmarks.html'. Add as many links as you would like, it's your choice. If your not sure if the link is the one you want, visit it again by following the link - you may want to add links from that document.
Once you have saved a bunch of links that you wanted, use [gfiles] again
and start over. Name the files according to your own preference, but they
must have '.html' as the last five characters. You may have to use
'
When you have finished saving a set of documents, rename 'saved_bookmarks'
back to 'lynx_bookmarks.html'. While looking at your file listing, add
the documents you created to your restored Bookmark File. You now have a
three keystroke access to your favorite Web Sites.
