2. The meeting was in the form of a reception for P.T.A. representatives, School Board members, and School Board staff. The participants were encouraged to discuss such topics as: the possible impact of school board amalgamation; the 1995-96 budget; progress of the Strategic Planning process; and the revised model for School Board administrative staff and their responsibilities. The goal was for all those present to come away with a better knowledge of one another, and a greater sense of the role of the District P.T.A.
