Administration

C-Suite is designed to allow as many administrative functions as possible to be performed, without superuser access, through the web interface.

Security is handled through NCSA HTTPd's built in security functions which allow pages in specified directories to be password protected.

The administration tour will allow you to explore the administrative functions of Chebucto Suite without causing any damage to existing accounts. When you are prompted for a password just enter "guest" (without the quotes) and no password.

For the purposes of this tour we have created four users on our dummy C-Suite system to perform admin functions on. The user id's for these users are:

aa001 -activated
aa002 -pending
Frugal -pending with a custom login ID
aa003 -activated youth

There are also three Information Providers on the system:

Linux Users Group of Halifax -active
The Wildabeast Club -pending
Bob's Free Shoes -pending

Remeber that all of the admin scripts running are fake versions. You cannot make any perminant changes to any of these accounts.
